He‘s put Iran back in its box, he’s gained commitments from NATO partners to increase Defence spending, he put tariffs on China’s technology dumping, he’s helped ensure that the USA is energy independent and he’s improved the economy....off the top of my head....

perhaps you can now tell me where he has failed.....

Ok breaking that down

Iran had signed a deal that pretty much all accounts say that they were sticking to, in their box so to speak .

the whole nato spending thing is predominately a huge red herring and I’m sure someone as astute as you doesn’t fall for the ‘unpaid bills ‘ stuff nor the fact that pensions etc pad a lot of nato defence spending . I’m also confident , because I’ve just checked , increases in NATO spending commitments began in 2014 .

the economy is interesting I believe GDP is growing at the same pace under Obama 2.9% and I think job creation is reported to be slower to ‘comparable periods ‘ under Obama .

i’m not saying that he’s been horrific for the economy because clearly he hasn’t but I think he’s been fortunate , as many leaders are in his timing and can ride that .

For me his complete opposition to anything remotely related to his predecessor does him not credit at all .

He‘s put Iran back in its box,
By reneging on the iran deal he has seriously damaged the bargaining ability of the US.
If anything, he has increased the threat of war with Iran.
He has cosied up to the Saudies, which is a dangerous double standard.

he’s gained commitments from NATO partners to increase Defence spending,
His rhetoric has weakened NATO as has his support for the Turks waging war on the Kurds, a US ally.

he put tariffs on China’s technology dumping
At a cost of billions to the US tax payer. He never looked for international coalitions which would have been a more sensible approach.

he’s helped ensure that the USA is energy independent and he’s improved the economy....off the top of my head....
Obama did the bulk of the work on this.

perhaps you can now tell me where he has failed.....
- he has demeaned the office of the president with his vulgar style.
- he has weakened the independence of the DOJ
- he has ruined relationships with allies
- he has blurred the line between church and state.
- he separated 2 year olds from their parents who had only committed a misdemeanor, and kept no record of their whereabouts.
- he wasted taxpayers money spending all his time golfing
- he failed to separate himself from his business interests as required by the constitution.
- He broke the emoluments clause, profiting from his position
- while POTUS he was found guilty of stealing from his charity.
- He hired a raft of people who ended up in jail
- He has increased xenophobic tension with his Muslim ban
- His roll back on environmental regs is undoing generations of good work
- He bribed a foreign leader for personal political gain
- His speach in Helsinki bordered on treasonous.
- His abandonment of Kurdish allies was dispicable.
- He let the national debt get out of control.
- He hasn't invested in infrastructure (with the exception of starting his dumb wall)
and on and on and on

But perhaps most of all, he has failed at being the president for the people of the USA. He's only interested in his base.
I despised GWB but at least he tried to govern for all.

Yeah but apart from all that he's done alright

And that’s fair enough. He has used every opportunity to denigrate Obama as a way of building himself up, but nonetheless he’s done OK, much to the chagrin of his detractors......

You've let Trump off easy here, but I'm only going to add to the last bit

I genuinely think a lot of his base would be shocked by the utter contempt Trump would actually have for them if were to just cross paths on the street sometime. They were so outraged by Hillary referring to them as “deplorables”, but Trump deplores them every bit as much, if not more so than her. He just figured out that by pandering to a certain segment of the American population they would give him their unwavering affection, which is like gold dust to someone who is as obviously insecure as he is.

It's the religious side that especially blows my mind.
He is so obviously and completely irreligious, unChristian and amoral.

If they could admit the above and follow up with... but I don't care because he panders to my beliefs and is stocking the courts with actual religious nuts, I'd at least understand. However the vast majority profess their belief in his "good man of Christ" credentials

Don’t all “good men of Christ” go around bragging about how they’ve sexually assaulted women?

I heard someone argue, literally to my face, that "God works through imperfect people". I just got up like Seinfeld and walked away. What kind of delusion must one deal with on a daily basis to think that Trump gives one rats ass about Jesus or religion in general? There was an interview before he was elected where a Christian interviewer asked him, completely serious btw, what his favorite bible verse was. Trump replied "it's too personal for me to let anyone know". And they were fine with that??

and you know he was coached on that reply

He’s just after cutting social security, students loans and Medicare etc raising the military budget.

NOW THATS call for impeachment. He ran on helping the working class made all sorts of promises. He should be pulled out of the whitehouse by the scruff of the neck by the people. It’s outrageous. Yet Democrats waisted all energy on phone calls and absolute gick to impeach him. That I’ve been saying all this time.

that calls for revolution nevermind impeachment.
