I doubt it.

but Republicans have also said they want Adam Schiff to take the stand. THAT I’d like to see. Purely because he’s far, FAR better at this stuff than any of the lawyers on the President’s defence team.

They’d have to put through a resolution to allow the defence to call witnesses, but not the prosecution... which would be a stretch even for them, and would make Trump look even more guilty than he already does.

voting is alphabetical and the first up would be Lamar Alexander, he's a moderate and if he votes for witnesses, Romneys prediction will be accurate. I dont see it tho. McConnell will have cooked up all sorts of deals with the moderates.

well, Alexander has said he won't vote for witnesses meaning it's just Romney and Collins.
Looks like he'll be acquitted tonight, hours after the UK leaves the EU.
