So is Donald trump and all other prominent climate change deniers leading a valiant rearguard action to help open the eyes of humanity then? To be fair, these guys always come across as reasoned and altruistic in their views on other subjects so I guess I should pay more attention.

Or you could follow Al Gore and make a fortune out of the scam after all he successfully predicted the polar ice would have gone by now ... oh sorry, he was wrong it's still here.

Come on, lad, do at least try and deal in reality

I mean, I guess there’s always the chance that I’m wrong and we don’t need to do anything. Of course, there’s always the chance that you, yes you Barry, are wrong. Unbelievable as it sounds.
Me being wrong, means that we have taken action to live a more sustainable way of living for no particular reason. You being wrong means we have sat back and ruined the lives of all generations after us. Personally think it’s a risk only a douche would take.
Have you ever been wrong about something Barry?

This is my favourite argument. Al Gore made a crap documentary years ago so it all must be lies. The straw man is strong in this one

I didn’t say forget the polls. I said the fact that they aren’t moving is bad news for Trump, as this is the point in a presidency when they should be going UP by 5-10pts.

Highlighting the dodgy stuff Biden is doing. Ah yes - like executing agreed-upon American (and EU/world) foreign policy by getting a corrupt prosecutor fired - a move which actually INCREASED the chances of Burisma being investigated.

No not that.

He also was Vice President to pro-war piss on the working class in favor of corporations Obama.

It's not really about being right or wrong it's just a case of looking at the robust science on the topic.

If someone chooses to believe fabricated data sets from official agencies and debunked "97% of all scientists" guff and manipulated computer models then they deserve to be called out. As I said the only long term science definitively shows co2 is NOT a causative element in global warming.

The downside of spending trillions from public coffers on a "a more sustainable way" is it directly robs money from genuine problem areas like cancer research, it is a sobering thought that statistically speaking either you or me will be a victim of cancer in our life times.

I was wrong about Paul Power - he was a tremendous signing

Every time you post without citing the requisite peer reviewed paper it is tacit acceptance you are chatting bubbles

Which peer reviewed paper are you on about? There's literally tonnes of them in the bibliography of those links I sent, and tonnes more within their bibliographies. You're more than welcome to read any of them.

For me, there's two possibilities: Approximately 97% of the world's scientific community are wrong and are complicit in some convoluted global money making hoax

Or

Barry Rathbone, Internet chump, who thinks Trump calls a spade a spade, is talking wham

I'm afraid I'm going with Occam's Razor here

So we should take away funding making the planet a nicer place for our kids and grandkids and divert it to making Barry offa GOT live longer!? Bit odd
