I think the House will end up voting for impeachment.
I think he should be convicted by the Senate - but it will take more revelations and such obvious "high crimes and misdemeanors" that even the Republicans say "yeah, he's gotta go" - per https://odds.watch/trump-impeachment the odds of impeachment are 72% as of 8:53am MT, 10/17/19 - while the odds of Trump leaving office early (via conviction or resignation) are 23%.
But I can hope.
yea, Trump has definitely galvanized more support since the inquiry started but it seems like the house are building quite a thorough case.
A lot will depend on McConnell and how he conducts the trial especially given that he is up for re-election next year.
I think he's been badly stung by the Moscow Mitch nickname sticking and, with the Kurdish situation, he's beginning to see that tying himself to Trump is not such a good idea. If the Dems can tie his wife to any of this he'll fold super fast.
If the dems can put a good case together, the senate will definitely come in to play in 2020 with Arizona, Alaska and Maine all up for grabs.

Was listening to a piece on farmers in the midwest. The piece was saying that Trumps approval had jumped about 20 points since the inquiry started. The attitude seemed to be that congress were wasting time fighting with the POTUS when they could be governing.
These people had no interest in the minutia of how Ukranian foreign policy is conducted and definitely think going after Hunter Biden is just draining the swamp.
I'll see if I can dig it up. His approval rating was at, like, 75% or something.
