The sheer idiocy of building the great wall of China circa 2016 and beyond is so laughable at this point...and points 3 years ago.
Spending money on the same problem with technology would be far cheaper.
Otherwise spend that money on jobs and boots on the field. Some healthy salaries would be had under the same budget.

Having safe and healthy borders for our human created geopolitical boundaries seems to be an important human experience then we argue.
In San Diego, Arizona and New Mexico they have been hiring a lot of people for the border over the last two years and last time i checked they still are. So it's not just the wall they are spending money on. I think they hired at least 200 in the last two years most of those in San Diego and into Arizona so far.
They are also claiming they have tech in the new sections of wall, funnily enough tech that can be used without the physical part of the wall. The things Trump nearly gave away in that interview.
A buddy of mine who works with the same tech in the military to protect the bases was asked to consult. He never did say he accepted but i doubt he will given it's supposed to be hush.
Betting he never filled half of them.
