It's a difficult question. The issue for me is can we still characterize people who defend their vote for and continued support of Cheeto as "normal"?

By and large they aren't learned or contemplative in response. They are limited to bumper-sticker phrases or nonsense they regurgitate from Fox/right-wing media or, the worst, whataboutisms.
