yea, every time one of them pipes up on my FB feed, I think how infuriating it must be for you! (then I turn off notifications from them. I know we're supposed to avoid the echo chamber and see things from the other side but sometimes it's too much to ask)

A plan that would worsen climate change, artificially prop up an uneconomic industy to help his coal baron donors whilst causing thousands of extra deaths of the peons - of course that is the plan that Trump would go with.
The Trump administration on Wednesday unveiled its final plan to rewrite a major Obama-era climate change policy, replacing proposed regulations that cracked down on coal-burning power plants with a weaker alternative. The administration’s plan would gut the Clean Power Plan, a sweeping climate change policy to curb greenhouse gas emissions drafted under President Obama. Stalled by the courts, the rule was never enacted.

Under Trump, the Environmental Protection Agency has branded the rewrite as the Affordable Clean Energy rule and designed it to fulfill the president’s campaign promise to bring back the coal industry. The new power plan does away with what had been aggressive nationwide goals for reducing the energy sector’s carbon footprint. It relieves heavily on coal plants — the largest producers of carbon dioxide within the electricity industry.

The plan is also expected to lead to additional soot and smog-forming emissions. According to the EPA’s own analysis, it could lead to more cases of upper respiratory illness and cause an estimated 1,400 premature deaths each year by 2030.

While the former rule would have pushed utilities to shift their operations away from coal and toward cleaner-burning fuels, the Trump rule has been hailed by the coal industry as a move that would tilt the market back in its favor. Energy experts don’t think the rule can reverse coal’s declines. Coal has been steadily losing its foothold in the American energy marketplace to cheaper natural gas and renewable sources like wind and solar. Though the industry has blamed government regulations like the Clean Power Plan for making it noncompetitive, demand for coal has fallen without the Obama-era rule ever taking effect.

Know the same for Hillary and other Dems; blind support happens on both sides. I have mates who won't even accept the failings of Obamacare, that Obama told barefaced lies about premiums coming down and keeping your doc. The same people now tell me it's a boss idea to kick everyone in America who has insurance off it and onto goverment run healtcare. And that removing the basic principle of choice is a small price to pay for that

You watch too much Fox News and believe their narrative.

For the record the Insurance industry which earns billions per year with it's partners in crime the drug companies dictate insurance premiums and the cost of care and drugs in this country. They wanted Obamacare to fail. As it gave them extra work and extra headaches.

Sure Obama's people had lofty ideas but they were ultimately naive in thinking they could reign in the racket that is the big 3 in healthcare.

As for the Doctors here's the thing Obamacare aside if your company decides to go with a different insurer it is also possible (in fact a lot of the times it's more probable) you may lose access to your Doctor especially if they are not within in their coverage. In a lot of states where there are bigger insurance companies this isn't an issue overall but smaller states with less insurers it was.

And that my friend was the real issue. Many states don't have many options or as you put it "choices". They are stuck with one or two companies and both of those are probably in bed together. It's common in the healthcare industry that they all deal with each other, own parts off each other and actually price fix.

Sure there were some flaws with Obamacare but with the insurance companies unwilling to help or bend it was always going to be flawed.

They will in turn become an issue for Sanders if he were to be elected. Do you think they will not lobby against this? They will point to employment figures and how a loss in their operation will be a big issue.

Those industries hire millions and have a lot of control in many states including those controlled by the Democrats.

I have been in that industry for the last eight years plus and been privy to a lot of information.

Obamacare was a good start. It just needed support and to be pushed. But the lobbyists in the healthcare industry and those who makes billions for your "choice" did not want that.
