Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

I think the law still punishes people who get abortions out of state. So basically they have to permanently move.
The law doesn’t punish the women (in a LEGAL sense - it punishes them plenty in a life/psychological sense) at all. It’s aimed at the doctors.

So people with enough money could indeed go out of state... so yet another GOP law that overly hurts women and lower socio-economic groups.

I think I'm getting crazy laws confused. A different state has rules against going out of state proposed.

It makes me sad. I almost feel fleeced after supporting Donald on many occasions and defending him against some what I deemed to be unjust allegations. But on this count there can be no defending that happening on his watch. I will be keeping a keen eye on his conduct from here on in.
I'm glad to see your take on this.
I get that for some that don't live here it can seem like some of the anti Trump sentiment on this thread can seem OTT and even be ripe for teasing or winding up but this abortion carry on is the inevitable conclusion of what we all feared.
Family separation is the inevitable conclusion,
Emboldened Nazis being condoned by the president is the inevitable conclusion.
Withdrawing from the climate accord while filling the EPA with fossil fuel cronies is the inevitable conclusion.
Continuously obstructing justice and undermining congress is the inevitable conclusion.
And on and on and on.
So while he may be amusing and you might think people are overreacting. It's worth remembering that most Americans can see the rapid destruction of civic society and the growth of fundamentalist religious ideology.

Tbf, most have been predicting the attack on Roe v Wade for months. Shamefully, I wanted Trump to get elected because I thought it was a good protest vote against a broken system and he couldn't do any damage without support from either party. I completely underestimated the spineless weasels that make up the Republican party and the pain he could inflict. I was wildly, horribly wrong

Yea, I think a lot of people also hoped he'd soften his stance and maybe move to the center.
Unfortunately, with regard to Roe, Most knew it would be under attack as soon as he was elected, especially considering they held the senate and McConnell had shown that he'd throw his granny under a bus in order to get a conservative supreme court.

It is Georgia that has the going out of state restriction build into its proposal.

Meanwhile it is Ohio that is demanding that all ectopic pregnancies are replanted into the womb rather than removed....a medical procedure that does not even exist.

Of course all these crazy restrictions don’t just impact a woman who is pregnant or even one seeking an abortion - they will have a huge impact on any healthcare a girl/woman who might remotely be pregnant receives as healthcare workers try to protect themsleves for being liable for causing a miscarriage even unintentionally.

It's supremely sad. I guess these women or girls could simply go to another state for an abortion, but there should be no need for that and it's utterly shameful for a law such as that to have been passed. I will never understand those who are anti-choice. Donald has let me down here and it's a big thumbs down from me on this count.
Except the Georgia law specifically states that they can prosecute women who go to another State to get the procedure done.

This is the guy you back. Good compass there.

That's a real shame. He's starting to get on my wick he is.

Agree with all that except for one point.

None of those things are the conclusion.

Conclusion would imply he’s finished.
