But sure the belief that treating athletes and potential voters like trash is a "win" to his base then people have the right to be outraged. Hes the President and these events are supposed to be an honor, something not everyone gets to experience. Ironically real winners get invited to celebrate their success and get congrats from the person in charge.

In defence of the burgers, I think that has more to do with him being a racist malignant narcissist in decline than it does the food.

Perhaps just me but I wouldn’t praise someone for the “courtesy and humor” they display in personal conversations when out in public they said I deserved to be in jail for treason - I don’t think it thin-skinned to feel such accusations (especially by the president) aren’t amusing either personally or in a wider context.
