And again TO REPEAT: immigrants to this country have a lower background rate of violent crime than citizens. And yes, while immigrants can put a strain on local governments in generation 1, the net effect of immigration on this country over the long term has been beneficial.

Angel Mothers is a stupid attempt to equate 'Dreamers' with them.

Not even the same sport. Sadly @mezzrow is drinking the Kool-Aid.
 
FWIW, I think "Angel Moms" was an organisation founded years ago, and covered women whose child had died through any one of a number of causes...

Trump bringing those women up - and particularly when he referred Jim Acosta to them, as if THEY were an answer to the fact of immigrants committing less crime - was arguably the most despicable thing he's done since taking office.
