Interviewer: “There’s about $3.6bn of it that could come from military construction efforts including construction of a middle school in Kentucky, housing for military families, improvements to bases like Camp Pendleton and Hanscom Air Force abase. Aren’t you concerned that some of these projects that are part of legislation that you helped approve in Congress are now possibly going to be cut out?”

Graham: “Well the President will have to make a decision on where to get the money. Let’s just say for a moment that he took some money out of the military construction budget. I would say it’s better for those middle school kids in Kentucky to have a secure border. We’ve got a national emergency on our hands”

Kentucky is one of the poorest states in the nation, particularly the Appalachian region, which direly needs more federal assistance for schools. Shameful. But that's selfish racist Republicans for you.

Not necessarily in the vein of your question but something Miss Scarlett has received since Cheeto was elected is hundreds of thousands of dollars of campaign contributions from Russian, Chinese and Middle Eastern billionaires.

Remember when Justice Alito mouthed "not true" to Obama during a State of the Union address? It was in direct response to Obama's comment about the SCOTUS overturning a century of law and opening the floodgates to corporate and foreign special interest money into American political campaigns.

So remember how it's been a bit of an ongoing mystery that it took them 18 days to fire Flynn after Sally Yates told the White House Counsel that he was potentially compromised by Russia?

How could they possibly wait 18 days to act, etc etc?

Turns out they didn't... didn't even act after the 18 days, that is. Turns out Flynn resigned himself, and Trump told Spicer to say that he ASKED him to resign, because that sounded better.

Tell you what, if the Mueller investigation doesn't end up exposing deep ties to Russia throughout Trump's campaign, I will go to my grave not understanding the answer to the question "Why can NONE of them stop lying, when it comes to Russia?"

Like you I was pretty much convinced there was nothing in it and it’d lead nowhere but it goes on and on and you have to think why are you doing this . A couple you can imagine having a panic and lying or maybe trying to keep various non-specific dirty dealing hidden but it seems relentless.

It feels ridiculous to say but the available evidence starts to indicate it might not be something that can be dismissed without consideration at least .
