That demographic are mouth breathing rednecks

I"m talking about the people you're describing. There are just many, many more "normal" people out there that get sick and tired of the [perceived] over the top media agendas, race baiting, etc. that don't even like Trump but lose their minds more over the "Libs" wanting their safe spaces.

It's reality. And I still don't think many of us get it. And that's why 2020 isn't fait accompli.

Not sure anyone is saying 2020 is fait accompli.

Trump's support is not growing. His appeal is not greater than it was 2-3 years ago, it is substantially less. I have plenty of personal experience to substantiate this claim and bet you do, too. It was made clear in the midterms and that result was amplified in the recent polling where 57% said they would not vote for him to be re-elected.

That said, the Dems are going to need (IMO) to nominate someone who has the appeal I wrote about earlier. I'd also like that candidate to virtually ignore Trump. Just ignore him. He's a failed POTUS. He's a congenital liar. He has no coherent governing philosophy. He has no moral compass. What is the point in addressing someone like this? It's like wrestling a pig. You get dirty and the pig likes it. To hell with the pig. He's fat, smells bad and most people don't like him or want to hear about him. So why bring him up? Be totally unwavering in positive, focused messaging that targets the base and suburban educated folks.

If done, I'd lay my money on Trump getting blown out of the water.
 
Has it really become too difficult for people to verify anything nowadays and do a bit of their own research before going all in.

There's no winners in this story and many before it.

Indeed, that video also lacks all the original context. The mainstream media and thousands on social media have had an absolute mare with this. You’d think the kids had been caught hurling racial abuse judging by the sh*t storm but the only real verbal and racial abuse was aimed at the kids by the black Israelites.

I mean the kids could well be racist little scummers but there is no evidence of that in the video... just evidence of them being typically annoying smug teenagers with extremely punchable faces.

They certainly don’t look much like victims or like youngsters trying to deescalate a situation either though . The leaking of various footage over this matter certainly shows how it could be dangerous to form hard and fast opinions in a moment .

Personally I don’t like the behaviour I’ve seen from them it’s at best disrespectful but where are the chaperones? I went to a catholic school and if I’d behaved like that on a trip I think I’d still be nursing the bruises now 30/40 years later .

I think the black Israelites behaviour was appalling and the racist allegations against the kids seem unsubstantiated and therefore unfair . As I’ve said above i don’t like the behaviour but I don’t like disrespect so that’s my reaction also to repeat myself those running the trip need to be spoken to strongly about allowing things to unfold .

Does tomahawk chop motions and mock Native American war cries directly in front of a Native American not constitute racist abuse?
