Personally I'd rather 2020 returns to normal, I'd love a Jimmy Carter-type as President. Let's hope the mid-terms produce a serious Dem candidate, ay?

I disagree. Trump's two major legislative accomplishments--the tax cut and Kavanaugh--were achieved not in spite of the system as you say, but due to Trump's own party controlling both houses (and changing the rules for SC judge appointments). I would suggest that stronger presidents are those who can achieve things despite not have their own party control one or both houses. Trump has the system on his side in the form of a Republican-controlled house and senate.
