Everyone knew those death reports were artificially low even when he was there as to be counted in the figures either a body had to be physically brought to the San Jose coroner or a medical examiner had to be dispatched to do the autopsy locally. They couldn’t even get water/food to large chunks of the island and refrigeration was out with the power so people were just buried locally. And that is just those killed directly in the hurricane - a person who died due to respiratory failure as her oxygen machine no longer had power is just as much a storm death as someone hit by a falling tree.

Also very concerning is that if he thinks everything went well in Puerto Rico, and Republicans continue to refuse to hold proper investigations into the response, there will be no lessons learnt about how to improve FEMA leading to yet more needless misery and death in the future.

Perhaps if “it was no-one’s fault” we can have a damn investigation into the FEMA contract that instead of providing 30 million meals only provided 50k? Or why it took so long to send a hospital ship or even determine how many hospitals were functional? Or why the emergency phones sent to help co-ordinate the rescue weren’t designed to work in the Caribbean?

Yellow Bill doesn't even try to address any facts or even be his own best critic when it comes to Trump's policies and tweets. He just swallows them wholesale as truth. If Trump tweeted that 2+2=9, Yellow Bill would support it, and block anyone who said he was an idiot for believing such tripe.
