It would be interesting to see what legal advice he had that told him this was ok:

We're about to see an economic bubble burst, coinciding with the president of the US being increasingly linked to electoral malpractice.

What a time to be alive.

Yup. It will be the omni-bubble, and this time there is no monetary recourse. Because the West's suicide pact with austerity has seen us abdicate responsible fiscal policy, the Central Banks have had to keep the emergency level ratcheted full-tilt just to keep the system going. When one of the overlapping bubbles pops and the whole ediface falls vanishes in an instant, there will be no bullets left in the holster.

That's when the "is this fascism?" question will start amounting to more than parlour speculation.

I have to say the Yanks have gone about it with a lot more foresight than the rest of the West - I mean, most of their needs can be met by domestic supplies, they have the biggest armed forces and a large % of the people that would go to the wall if they defaulted are not US citizens. The EU on the other hand (including us) would be utterly boned.

This , this and this again . I find it truly staggering, he’s not been charged maybe that’s because he CAN’T BE indicted . I mean I get people age stupid but come on .
Especially as they saw how well the argument worked for Clinton who actually could be charged.

And the “he did nothing wrong” line is pretty weak when the president goes on Fox and Friends and confesses to an act that would be a crime for anyone else.

I'm a bit concerned about it as his base are religiously supportive of him, and if he were to be impeached, what the reaction would be there.
Quite literally religious. People have taken to saying God sent us this great man like he is some kind of prophet. I find it horrid but his base is starting to actually buy in
