It is his own damn law, just newly introduced! Kelly and Sessions have said they hope the policy will act as a deterrent! And his tweet is going to have to be rewritten as he’s used “there” rather than “their”.

All immigrants who cross the border illegally will be charged with a crime under a new "zero tolerance" border enforcement policy, Atty. Gen. Jeff Sessions said Monday, launching a crackdown that could overwhelm already-clogged detention facilities and immigration courts with hundreds of thousands of new cases.
Sessions also said that families who illegally cross the border may be separated after their arrest, with children sent to juvenile shelters while their parents are sent to adult detention facilities. Until now, border agents tried to keep parents and their children at the same detention site.

"If you are smuggling a child, then we will prosecute you and that child will be separated from you as required by law," Sessions said earlier Monday in Scottsdale, Ariz. "If you don't like that, then don't smuggle children over our border."

Which is great, genuinely good news.
But we also have a lot of innocent people incarcerated during the Trump administration, or kids seperated from family by ICE or travesties of justice such as this

I’m guessing Hope Hicks - RNC has recently paid 500k in legal bills for her and, given her involvement in trying to spin the Don Jnr Russian meeting, doubt that is the end of her legal issues.
Of course he could also mean Porter, who got fired because it came out he beat up his wives, or his body man McEntee who couldn’t get security clearance because of his gambling habit. The latter seems to have landed a plum job at his re-election campaign though.

If say Carter Page did collude with the Russians 1) it would matter even if the Trump campaign itself was so inept as to genuinely not know what was going on 2) it would be even more evidence that the FBI were right to have an informant look into him.
