Current Affairs Donald Trump POS: Judgement cometh and that right soon

I was lectured at length that this was a board for unbiased news aggregation and that I shouldn't be unnecessarily argumentative. Perhaps some kind person could come make that public announcement for your benefit as well.

Fox and Limbaugh have exploited an opportunity given to them by left-leaning media. There are certainly those who peddle outright falsehoods, Alex Jones, for example, and others who brush up against it, like Hannity. But they're not fabricating this issue.

No idea what you are talking about.

What issue are they not fabricating?

The only thing I see is that wildly biased news is what people want (which is sad). Fox realized that peddling right wing propaganda filled a void and boosted ratings. MSNBC was a direct response...and eventually their ratings were boosted as well...not really a void filler for a long time though.

CNN used to be quite neutral IMO....and lo and behold their ratings eventually suffered. They have gone more and more left with each passing year because (sadly) people aren't interested in unbiased cable news anymore.

Sinclair infiltrating local news is a much bigger concern for me.

Agree with all of this, actually. Pleasantly surprised to see the acknowledgment of CNN.

Truth be told, I'd prefer the more egregious examples (FNC, MSNBC) over less explicit bias (like what CNN did pre-Trump). It was more subtle, by story selection, by having an anchor tacitly reinforce the partisan/biased opinion of a guest during a "hard news" hour, etc. Sunday morning shows are a good example these days.

Seems like you, along with the likes of Limbaugh and Hannity are happy to see the truth no longer exist...facts be damned.

Jim Jordan and Devin Nunes are the products of this long game that Limbaugh and Fox have been playing. The right has gone so far into playing up the mistrust in our institutions of law and order, I fear they are doing irreparable damage.

I see you have no opinion on Sinclair infiltrating local news with their propoganda.

Yeah, see this is what I'm talking about. Couple pages of calm sensible discussion capped off by you moronically conflating me with Hannity despite me having just bashed Hannity 2 posts ago. It's so dumb it makes me wonder if this is some elaborate WUM on your part.

It's the type of stuff Steve rants at me about, but he'll probably like your post for doing the exact same thing.

Did you bash Hannity or did you say he brushed up against the truth? Didn't you just say you preferred biased new coverage like Fox and MSNBC who muddy the truth with bias? What am I missing?

I said:

"There are certainly those who peddle outright falsehoods, Alex Jones, for example, and others who brush up against it, like Hannity." I'm not sure how you can take that in any other way other than saying Hannity approaches the Alex Jones level of "outright falsehood"

I also said I prefer Fox and MSNBC in a way because the bias is blatant and thus easier to spot. Meaning, I think it's more useful for people to be able to see instantly that a news outlet is slanted. I think it's more dangerous where the news outlet is biased but masks it. People go to MSNBC and Fox News to reinforce views they already have.

Oh f*** off.

Leave me out of your arguments with someone else. To try and reinforce a point by including someone else to make a point shows the type of creature you are .

Here's a tip for you. When 95% of everyone else like your opponents comments and not yours you are clearly barking up the wrong tree.

Picking fights with people and getting personal is why people think you are nothing but a troll like Liam and the other pretenders. We accept your not an adversus type but you sure act like it

You have done nothing but show how biased you are and how anti left you are in the last couple of weeks despite claiming from the off you are looking for good debate and are open minded.

China, the world’s biggest soybean importer, almost tripled purchases from Russia amid a trade dispute with the U.S., the biggest producer.

Russia sold about 850,000 metric tons of soybeans to China from the start of the 12-month season in July through mid-May, according to Russia’s agriculture agency Rosselkhoznadzor. That’s more than during any season before and compares with about 340,000 tons sold during all of the previous period, Chinese customs data show.

Haha, can see that landed squarely. Unless the subject is blatant hypocrisy, I don't think I'll need your tips, Steve.

I still am not seeing you bash Hannity or anyone else for creating a false reality not based on facts.

In fact again you seem to prefer it over media with a lean. Prefer places that reinforce somone's opinion bubble.

I'd think you'd be at least as outraged about Sinclair as you seem to be about CNN...if no more so.

Did you get your rock off to that one. Delighted that you think you got one up on someone. Good for you. Yet you claim you are not a troll right oh. clearly not interested in debate all you want to do is get one over on lefties its clear now thanks for clearing that up you bad troll you.

Sinclair dictating to local networks is similar to the rest, yes. As for everything else, I'm not sure what to tell you. If you can look at two posts where I accuse Hannity of being untruthful and come away from that concluding I haven't bashed him, I'm not sure I can muster the interest in continuing to try and satisfy you.
