Fair comment. If he has issues he needs support. I know many are frustrated by the situation but I am sure DCL would love to be performing well and scoring goals rather than his current situation and it isn’t his fault we have no decent replacement for him. No need to rip him to bits

Yup, it was the same with Fan-Friendly Frank: half the fanbase were not so much in denial as part of his job preservation society. It was a cult. Same now with Calvert-Lewin: denial is rampant.

He can't be relied on. Like Mina, he should be jettisoned at the first opportunity. There is no blame here - but unless Everton is now a full-fledged charity, we must move on without sentiment.
