Maupay screams of player who feeds off scraps of a target man.
He never played that way at Brighton, tbh - or very rarely - or Brentford.
He's a player who can work in a system where you have more of the ball and get more players up the pitch in support.
But he can't hold it up, he can't bring others into play aerially.
The goal he scored v West Ham, and ironically the chance he missed v Liverpool, are the only real times we've seen us play to his strengths.
That's not to excuse him at all. He's just not that good of a player, but the fit is what was wrong more than anything.
