I'd consider starting him against West Ham. If it goes well keep him in the team if not Tosun is still a good option. My feeling is that his ceiling is miles above Tosun's so if he's playing well and scoring he should stay in the team.

..he’s not taking advantage of his speed and pace as yet, not just on the ground but aerially. He’s a big old unit but he’s mobile enough to have a trick or two to go past players, but in similar fashion to Lukaku it’ll probably be he bustles his way beyond defenders.

The lad is strong in the air & is a big threat with his heading ability...
He has electrifying pace & will be devastating on the counter....
Can play on the flanks, but I prefer him through the middle as a striker....
Has an eye for a goal & looks more of a threat than Cenk ATM...

Doesn't appear to have the game sense to do this. Gets offside in some amazingly stupid circumstances.

Lets face it the Everton players turned out and ran round the pitch but did they play Football? Because they shopuld have seen this Yorkshire lot off with ease!

I don't think he played well against Huddersfield or Rotheram yet he scored 3 goals in these games. Previously he has played well but his finishing has let him down, if he can put the two together then he will be an important player this season.

Still improving with every game, will get better with more games...

Would be a real handful up front with Walcott & Richarlison out wide...

Agreed , only person I wthink played “well” was Zouma . I know DCL isn’t a LM and I appreciate that, but he didn’t “play well” as people on here are saying . He was anonymous apart from his goal as were some of our other players. Saying he played well is incorrect imo

Should be playing off the last defenders shoulder and running onto through balls or dinks over the top, why arent we doing that ? Because we dont have anyone that can spot those passed. De Bruyne etc

Should still be able to beat a man tho if he’s the fastest in the league, baring in mind that most of the other fastest players will be wingers and attacking players , not defenders it’s no secret I don’t rate him but this just highlights it even more imo

No not necessarily. It’s football, not a foot race. Dribbling and technique is more important than raw pace in order to beat a man.

Somewhat agree. Don't think he played poorly just seemed that he didn't do enough and as we all know, he played out on the left. When he got the ball and had some space to run into, he was quick and made a few decent runs, but after finishing the sprint at that point he just doesn't know what to do with it. He hasn't got the ability on the ball to fire crosses in, dribble, do step overs etc. Consequence of him playing LM unfortunately.

Think he’s quite decent at skill to be fair. He’s probably annoyed looking to whip a ball into absolutely no one at the minute.
