Does ITV show WC games with a 2 second delay?

My ZDF stream (official German telly-website) always has a 20-second delay over the tv-version, some unneighbourly weapon throughout the entire world cup keeps letting off fireworks after every frakkin goal...have to watch the games with all the windows closed and volume on superloud. still heard the firework for Croatia's winner 20 seconds before i saw the goal...ffs

Yep, this phenomenon is a real thing.

As soon as we qualified through each round of this World Cup, I quickly checked the TV listings to see if we were on BBC or ITV. England should ever be shown on BBC.
