I meant I don't care about him furthering his career. He never went on to be a truly world class player in my eyes anyway. If he waited a little bit longer he could have qualified for the champions league with his boyhood club don't see how that could have damaged his career.

In my eyes he did the dirt on the club, players leave fair enough, to do what he did in the final week of the transfer window to us is unforgivable, he left us to be relegated for all he cared.

If people want to back a player over the club, that's fair enough, I won't be budging.

CONTRADICTION ALERT!!

So if he had waitex for his soothsayer to tell him that we we would finish 4th but FAIL to get in the champs leaugue after being relegation fodder he wouldn't have damaged his career?

But moving to utd winning loads of tropheys did?

But what if we was relegated with him? He would be a true great then?

It was not a good snarling atmosphere. It was loads of drunks spitting hate and it was vile. Never been to a game like that before or since. Was seriously way over the top. It was nothing to be proud of believe me.

we'd win a hell of a lot more home games if we brought that bearpit every other week

If he had left early in the window I would have been gutted but understood, would have given us an opportunity to sign players, as I remember we were big in for the likes of Carrick, Alan Smith etc only to be gazumped. He lobbed his request in, in the last week of the window, leaving us no time to spend his fee and for relegation for all he cared.

Of course Murphys Law Cahill and Bent, Grav etc led up to the Chapion League the following season.

To my mind he will always have walked out of the club, to suit himself, in the worst possible circumstances not caring if we would get relegated.

Maybe a kenwright promise of signings Made him hang on?

But maybe not as we all know kenwright can't do any wrong.

You've lost me mate, but if I underrstood, I'd probably agree to differ and fairly snuff.

Maybe he didn't, isn't the maybe game fun.

Not sure there mate, I wouldn't be as big a fan as yourself on Bill, I'd definitely have one or two criticisms truth be told.

Coming from the backwater country known as Poland, where everyone can't wait to move to England.

So what is your point?

You slag off a fellow Evertonian and it can be right because he's Polish?

You do know Bob played for Everton and was well thought of and Polish? I assume not, otherwise you wouldn't provide such drivel.

I think a new whopper thread needs to be started - so start one lad. Me pulling your pants down will be a laugh.

Wayne Rooney.

Never did hate him in the 1st place anyone who takes football that serious to hate someone needs a reality check
was disappointed with the badge kissing and stuff but if you look at what he has won and the money he has made compered to what everton have achieved in the years since he left it's pretty obvious he made the right choice
