Do Everton need a clearout?

should we sack everyone at the club and start again?

It would be good if we could move on McNeil, Tarkowski, Keane and Mykolenko. These footballers have an avoid relegation mindset similar to the current manager. The first 3 have been trying to avoid relegation for their whole careers.
Exactly. There is obvious business to be done.

I don't know what a 'clear out' looks like in numbers... but as little as 3-4 positions + manager change drastically alters the team.

GK, fine
LBs, could live with myko, try Adam
RB, buy + Garner cover ( otherwise he's in at CDM )
CBs, Jake and JoB, Tarks as cover + buy
RHS: Dibling/ Illy
LHS: George / Grealish
CDMs: Rohl, Tim, Gana as cover + buy
No.10's... Harrison/ kdh?
CF: Beto + buy + Graham...

So with McNeil, Alcatraz, Keane, Seamus, Barry all making way that's 5 x salaries and selling fees (40- 50m the lot) for a CF, CB, CDM and RB...

prob needs either 2 x loans or no more than 30-50m injected from TFG...

I'm not saying this is a killer team, only that for relatively little spend we could drastically change where we're weak without a 'clear out' or unfunded spend. That's still a squad of 22 +

+ Manager change :)

Totally agree on the club media, it is shocking. If anything plays down expectations than it's it's the Instant media posts I read on here straight after defeats or bad Interviews by Moyes.

I honestly don't know how people buy in to it, They always seem to have a pre-planned love in post to send out.
Been a problem since the kenwright days and has persisted. That has to be others in the club who have been happy to continue the behaviour.

What's that look like? What has to happen for a winning culture? How does that manifest within Everton FC as an organisation?
We have to have a manager with a winning at almost all cost mentality ,we saw that the team Dyche had was not a bad as he made them look ,well I am sure a good manager would do the same again ,one who wants to win every game not be happy with a draw against any team -even if he knew in his heart we had little chance ,one who could instil belief in themselves not fear and respect for our oppenents .
Then get shut of the old boys brigade mentality ,I don't want a place where we have won nothing to be somewhere they are happy to croon on about as though it is a spa /hotel in the sun .
Not good enough means not good enough, not they are a great bunch of guys . Is it neccessary for then to know the clubs history and kiss the badge before they have kicked a ball ? I want players who want to see if we are good enought for them not the other way around .

We can have the best players in the world and we'll still never win a button with Moyes. He'd still play for a draw in the derby and have a negative attitude regardless of who we have upfront, that's who he is as manager. There's a reason that no fanbase has ever taken to him and at best see him as a place holder to steady the ship.

we had carlo and won … 11th place

Carlo has never been the kind of coach to make a silk purse out of a sows ear as he only works to his potential with ready made international stars. He was completely the wrong fit for us and i used to cringe at all that Don Carlo hero worshipping stuff for a manager who was only using us because we gave him a fat wedge of cash and who couldn't wait to crawl back to Real Madrid despite him criticising them with the European Super League farce

A bit harsh he did give us James ,when he wasn't on a plane somewhere ! This is my point from another post we want players who earn the shirt not who are given it by a mate . How many of Fergies ,Shankly's or Wengers players truly like them ,respected them for sure but they were thrown out when the time come with ne'er a sideways glance . Very few got into the backroom .
