a young player playing for a club who hasnt won the league in just under 30 years, wanted by a club who are reigning champions again?

Fair comment i think.

Buzz Lightyear head can do one, average player who got far too much respect by blues who have forgotten the standards this club used to set. He will be remembered for shattering our dreams at Wembley against the worst Liverpool side in 20 years.

I cant believe everton are a small club, im so upset im gonna cry all night long until someone says we're the biggest club in the whole universe.

And they better do it soon otherwise everton football club will cease to exist.

Chelsea and Man City aren't big clubs Sky just promote them more cos they have money to buy whoever and it's easy to get people round the world to buy into the prem an glory hunt those two teams

The definition of "big club" to a player is a club that regularly competes for top honors. It's different from how a fan would look at it.

Stones was less than a year old the last time we won a trophy.

Not really think of the players who flocked to city and Chelsea before they competed for top honours it was all about the money and mostly is with most players

He told Sky Sports: ""There's no doubt about his quality and as a teammate and as a friend he is a fantastic man and a great prospect.

"Everton is a fantastic club for him and they have shown in the past, even with the core group of youngsters that we have at the moment, that there is so much talent here.

"There are not many young defenders that are as composed and read the game as well as he can. That's why Everton went out and bought him when it was just young potential and they are reaping the rewards at the moment."

Stones scored one goal in 28 appearances for Everton last season following a move from Barnsley in 2013 for £3million.

He can say what he wants, but he just having a dig at the club as usual, horrible git. Should have been hung after his performance against the rs in Wembley

I think he is having a dig at the club and management. There was no need for him to say anything, was there? Think what are his motives given the way in which he left our club.
You could be right, I think you can read what you want into how you see it , for me it was he was praising John Stones , and
if Distin wants to have a go over how he left the club I'm sure he will do so, he hasn't up to now.

His choice of words wasn't great.

I.E. He could've said champs league in rather than bigger.

Had to remind a utd fan they went twenty odd years without winning the league. Does that make them a small club at the time ?
