Discussion & help on depression & mental health related issues

Not a mental health issue per say, currently suffering from Flu. Has anyone else suffered from forgetfulness with Flu. Woke up not knowing what day it is. It that just brain fog, or is it something more serious like sepsis.
That's a heck of a connection, if you are that concerned, (and you have every right to be) because sepsis is so very serious, either get to the doctors or get to A&E.

I slipped a disc in July and was the same mate. I didn't know what day it was when I woke up. I think dealing with any ailment can disorient you

If your concerned about sepsis I would be getting down the one stop.asap

Hi everyone. On Saturday I have a men’s walk and talk starting from the club shop at Bramley Moore. Finally got a referral to a psychiatrist which alone has been an uphill battle, this is for a formal diagnosis for PTSD i'm told. I thought this was something soldiers got.

This has been a battle tbh.
Anyone can,I was diagnosed some years ago after cancer treatment. I honestly thought if I got into remission that I'd be jumping through hoops but it didn't turn out that way. Hope you can get the therapy that'll turn it around for you.

My ex girlfriend had PTSD.

Before she met me she had just left university two years into her course after being diagnosed with it.

All stemmed from her childhood

She had a relapse when we were together and we had to end it so she could focus on getting better.

Good luck mate. As someone who’s gone through therapy I can say it’s a long road but well worth it in the end.

We had a brilliant walk on Saturday from Bramley Moore to Goodison and back for the TALKHUB men’s walk and talk. It was good to see so many lads get out on a Saturday morning. We finished the walk off by showing the lads our stone on Everton way and then went in to the cafe at the ground to get a hot drink.
It’s good to talk lads 💙
