The most you can give Wilder imo was 4 rounds, even after the knockdown deductions, that's still a 114-112 scorecard for Fury. I wouldn't go as far as calling it a robbery because if Fury was able to stay on his feet in the final round then he would have won a split decision as he'd have won by 1 point on the card that scored it a draw.
God knows what that Mexican judge was watching, that score card is nearly in the Adelaide Byrd category of complete fiction.
I do differ from the opinion that it is only Fury can get better in the rematch. That was the best Fury has ever fought, not even close. His win over Klitchsko does not even compare to this, he just spoiled against Vlad and barely did anything himself, this time around he boxed an absolutely superb fight that I certainly didn't think he was capable of.
I actually think it's Wilder who can improve significantly in a rematch. He's never going to be a great boxer, but he's certainly better than what he displayed last night which in my opinion makes the rematch one of the best fights that can be made right now.
Who would have thought a match up involving Tyson Fury, normally the most boring fighter in the sport, could be described in such a way?
Hope it happens in the UK.
