As much as Howard is pretty pants at crosses I think we'd be much more successful as a team if 1). Our full-backs could actually prevent crosses, and 2. Our centre-halves knew how to protect the 6-yard box.

It's his biggest game ever, no one expected Wigan to beat City so he could afford to use his understudy keeper. Everyone knows this could well be his defining games for Everton, I can't see him gambling with his second choice.
