Now it's just possible that if Everton did well then they'd attract the same audiences as any ic the top established clubs - but the media wouldn't countenance any possible risk of losing a penny if income during a transition - ergo any progress from a middling club is blocked by mysteriously bad refereeing decisions.

It seems to me that the established more well known ones are the ones most likely to be taking a backhand slice from the authorities. They're the ones most people would respect, the ones with a reputation who could take more flack and get away with it.

To illustrate: I used to rate Collina before he was dragged out of retirement for that ONE game that made sure only 4 English teams, and of them only the bigger saleable brands got into the runners up league.

Jeez, if you think the game is that corrupt, that broken, just give it in. Seriously, if you really actually think that, what is the point in following it? I see many posts saying similar, about football being in the bin, corrupt, stopped watching etc etc. Yet the same people come on here post this inane ‘conspiracy’ rubbish and to pass comment on our club. Well, you’ve stopped watching, by your own admission, how do you know? Embarrassing

What's embarrassing is you not comprehending the chronological order of me seen the corruption BEFORE jacking football in earlier this season.

You'd of course deny any fabrication and conspiracy if you were a fan of a club that was currently benefitting, because you'd want to believe that success was down to merit. Until it's somebody else's turn next season.

You jacking it in isn't working very well. You conspiracy theories don't add up. Look where UTD are, they didn't get any benefit off VAR on Sunday, a goal that could easily have been ruled out if what you say is correct at the expense of a small club like Sheet UTD. Leics going great. Indeed Palace have benefited more from VAR interruptions than anyone, followed by the financial behemoth that is Leics, UTD, soton, Brighton and Burnley. Which kind of makes your statement ..............Look silly.

Refereeing in this country isn't great, VAR is a joke. There's no conspiracy. We are just really poor and looking for reason why the big clubs are so far ahead. It's simple. Quality of players.

I've followed top flight footie for over 40 years. I've spent countless hours ankle deep in mud coaching and reffing school matches fostering respect and sportsmanship.

Yet here I am with eyes and a keen understanding of what motivates a lot of wealthy people (yet more cash) - I haven't fallen out of love of football - I just don't recognise top flight football as football anymore. Same as i don't rate WWF as wrestling, or F1 as motor racing. I just have no faith that its honest competition.
 
Calling it now, we will have a goal chalked off by VAR at some point in the derby.

Reckon it will be with silva as well, a spirited performance and so close to a result but being cheated out of it because a push 70 yards away was highlighted
