The Tranmere part of him is extremely well known so your mate isn't revealing anything there. The derby is nearly the only game for either us or them that he's ever allowed to ref, the assumption being any bias he might have as a Tranmere fan against either us or them will be cancelled out as we're playing each other. He's not the problem, but A****son on VAR is. As others have said though, only makes a difference if it will be four or five they score against us.
