Radio City have said that Everton are close to a deal.

It would be a superb signing for 4 million.

Barnes would be an excellent signing. I've mentioned him before as someone I'd like to be signed. He’s one of the best up and coming English talents in my opinion. He's pacy, technically good and has a footballing brain. Plus he's pretty tall and versatile. He can play right, left, centre and as a support striker.

People will probably mention his lack of impact in the Prem but he was playing for the worst team in the Leagues history and had alot of injuries.

I'd love him here. He'd giive us a different option to Pienaar and Arteta and would be useful off the bench.

True. Alot youngsters have that though and its about bringing them down to earth and helping them reach there potential.

To be honest anyone would think there the best player on the planet at Derby. Its not hard. At a club like Everton with alot better players than himself I'm sure his attitude would be different.

I have my reservations(due to attitude, not talent), but I hope you are right. Time will tell. 4 mill seems steep but maybe I am being tight. haha
