Can't really argue with this decision. A problem of his own making and now paying the consequences.

I agree with the decision, however they've acted really shady in how they've done it.
Accept a lower wage or you're sacked...

Exactly. They were driving yet they sack keogh.

sack keogh but keep bennett and lawerence who were charged with drink driving is it more to do with keogh being injured and no longer an 'asset'? they can still get a fee for the other 2, seems more like a business decision than a moral one.

I think you’ll find Derby haven’t got a leg to stand on. Keogh will get his contract paid up and compo - unless they can somehow prove that, as the passenger, he was liable for the accident which seems very unlikely (and rather hard to prove).

This wont go down well with Derby fans. Was talking to some fans cple weeks ago abt it. They have a lot of respect for Keiogh, but dont particulary like Lawrence.
