Depressing article...

Maybe it is the way to go, and maybe other clubs will come to appreciate it in future years.

And perhaps the likes of Vila, Spurs etc will look back in 20 years and thank God they got owners with more than the right accent and and a true love of the club.

Kenwright isn't the fundamental source of all evil. Of course not. He's just a barrier, and as such, a bloody nuisance. No more than that.

Sincerity wins nothing. Money does.

Moyes is making all the right noises but I guarentee you that if come the close season their is anything like a re-run of this pre-season then you will not see him for dust and who can blame him ? We are at a massive cross roads at this present time .

I like your point and more importantly, your font.

There just aint enough Tahoma up in here.

The tone of the article is very doom and gloom, but it's not just what it's insinuating, it's what Moyes actually says.

'I have a lump in the back of my throat - I am choking - because I'm finding it hard to say to anyone that we're making progress. I'm not sure that's the case this year.'

I thought it would be a joyous week, what with Kirkby collapsing and all, turns out it's very depressing.

It just goes to show that DM is thinking about the club, whereas those who are rejoicing about the collapse of DK are thinking of themselves - end of.

I dont need to spin it - Moyes just underlined there his own words in the Mail article that, given Kenwright cant take the club forward, he needs to get someone in who can. I dont see how spin comes into this at all. It's all there in their own words and in context. There's unlikely to be a full blown rift between BK and DM, but there's been a change since Wednesday's stadium decision. Moyes is looking beyond Kenwright now if he's to stay on as manager.

Where is he saying that mate?

Saying he's looking beyond Kenwright? Well, an open call in the news media for a takeover would seem to spell it out. That wouldn't happen without Kenwright selling up. Ergo.....

I think your reading into that too much and formulating an opinion on a fact that's not quite there.

Where does he say he is looking beyond Kenwright?
