Has anyone got a vid of him during the Man City match.

Said it before but there hasnt been an individual performance like that at Goodison in my lifetime. I dont mean silky skills, just sheer heart and determination. I'll forever love him for that match. Had me off my seat shouting at the TV. A simply ridiculous performance.

The tackle from Neville was the best part of the move. That and the tackle on Ronaldo are two of the best I've seen at Goodison whatever people think of him sometimes (me included) on his day not many players can throw in a challenge like him.

If you listen carefully you can hear the sound of Coles ankle breaking.

Great stuff.

This with jingle bells on. I've only ever seen a better reception at GP for Rhys parents.

And for those who say he's a bad donkey etc. watch his hold up play and what he does with his flick-on's. He's not good enough for us by any stretch but he's not half as bad as some make out.

we need this, whos that chap on here who does videos of just one players contribution for a whole match? get him on the case

Yeah, I don't get it either. Anichebe scores more goals, Denis ran a lot but didn't score, which is important...

I might have this wrong but Wikipedia tells me Anichebe has 14 goals for us in 122 League and FA Cup games (46 starts, 76 sub appearances). I cant find the stats for the Straq but seem to recall he went on an okay little run. More than anything though when he was on the pitch he actually looked as if he gave a ****. By comparison Anichebe looks like an exotic version of bambi on steroids

Denis 1 league goal in 20 appearances.

Anichebe 7 league goals in 18 appearances this season and last.

On recent form I can't believe anybody would take Denis just because he runs a lot.

Straq had 3 goals in 27 League and Cup appearances at age 24. A lot of the appearances you're including for Anichebe occurred when he was 20 years old or younger.

I remember Straq fondly, but there's a bit of revisionist history going on here. He just wasn't good enough.

I think him and Jelavic could have made an excellent partnership given time. He could hold the ball up, flick the ball on and run the channels so that Jelavic could do what he does best
