I think Demba Ba will sign for us. It's confusing though with the Hoffenheim situation. I wouldn't want us to sign him on a view to a permanent deal because who is to say if he bangs in, 15 in 25 starts, if we'll be able to afford the fee or even be gazumped. I saw an interview with him on Sky Sports when he was promoting himself for a move to the Premiership, and he seemed a nice guy who was willing to prove himself in this league. I don't think a club bigger than Everton will be in for him, and for that reason, I think he will sign for us within a few days, if our interest makes him feel wanted.

Is there any truth in the yak going to the foxes tomorrow for 3m LCAB? I thought myself one of the promoted teams would come in with a cheeky bid of around 5.
