Demba Ba

Cheers for the update. Seems unlikely now then. How can Moyes have cooled hid interest in him that quickly? Odd.

Silas mucker which ever or what ever, Demba Ba is on another level to Beckford , you don't have to be knowledgable about football to know this so I don't want to get into any kind of debate regarding the two, like I said OSMAN and INNIESTA difference

If you don't want to start a debate don't make disproportional comparisons matey. Osman and Iniesta is a big gap. Demba Ba isn't a million times better than Beckford. He's a very good striker, Beckford's a good striker.

I agree with you Silas.. The original comparison was laughable..

Fair play like.

Cheers for the update. If his agent has his way, he'll be a barcode then.

This is what I dont understand. I realise it happens often but how can a player let his agent basically decide which club he plays for. If he has a particular preference for a club he should be telling his agent that thats where he wants to go-not the other way around.

Quite agree with this one. Ba is not the second coming, just a very good forward. If he came I don't see Beckford living in his shadow.

"There is also another issue which complicated the transfer which will come to light at some stage but held up negotiations for a period of time."

Must be because our new owner has set better targets with Moylez.

In an ideal world yes. In the real world, the agent has more influence than we'd imagine. They are paid to get the best deal and to be the dirty barsteward.
