Defence? Steve Round? Coincedence?

is our defence going to [Poor language removed] and the appointment of mr round, mere co-incidence?

I don't know lcab. There are so many possibilities, from Moyes unsettling things, Round being [Poor language removed], pure bad luck and so on, that it's impossible for anyone on the outside to make a proper judgement.

i said this when we employed him...

...everyone said he had a good pedigree, a great c.v. with excellent experience, no one took me up on it, but, is it just me? Or are Newcastle, Middlesbrough and England, all [Poor language removed] diabolical sides with nothing but poor seasons in recent years?

No its not just you..

If i'm honest i'd never even heard of the bloke when he got the job

I think the biggest problem is Carsley going out of the team & eventually being replaced with someone who hasn't had time to settle yet. He did an excellent job of helping out the defence & at the minute nobody else is doing it, the defence has played poor & lost confidence as a result

So no, I don't think Round is responsible at all

what we`ve got to look at is who is doing the talking at the back?
before we Stubbs or Wier to bully along Yobo giving him a rocket when he fell asleep, which happens at least once a game. Now we`ve got Lescott, Yobo,Baines all who just arnt very vocal neither is Howard.Look at the derby all you could hear was Carragher or Riena.
I`d like to be in the dressing room at half time and just see who stands up and gives the kick up the arse, not DM but which player?
Also Moyes` interview after NUFC said we had to change the team talk? why?

He meant cos it was 2-1 at half time rather than 2-0. He was gonna tell them to go out and score a few more if we were two up, but he changed it to keep it tight cos we were only one in front.
