I got it wrong on De Boer, hands held firmly up (think I said as much in my last article).

It's alarming really, the Palace side he inherited was not in as much of a mess as we were coming into last summer. Small margins in football.

As for De Boer I sense two bad jobs for him and looks to be really struggling outside of the supporting working environment of Ajax.

I didn't think he was going to fit very well. But not nearly this bad to get sacked inside 4 games.

I don't think any other league in the world is as good at punishing the opposition at mistakes as the prem is. That's why most managers go for more experienced players because one mistake can cost you the game and confidence is one of the most important things in the prem.
