It's gone horridly wrong due to a huge glut of reasons. Some down to him not adapting. Some down to poor management. It is what it is.

I hope if he does go it's on loan but that looks unlikely.

That makes it worse. Who buys a player that slow for the premiership and then also wants Giroud and Sigurdsson.

If we still had Rom and Deulofeu or another couple of pacey wingers I think he could brilliant but this squad is all wrong for him.

Totally agree. He scored shed loads on fifa until we got rid of all our pace. Then he was unusable.

definitely. You don't score that many and assist that many from midfield without something. Domestically and in europe, it must be said. I'd really like to see him go to someone like swansea on loan, a team who are desperate for a runner from midfield and aren't willing to pay too much transfer fee, and then we start again with him next summer.

He seemed to have those same traits as naismith did that i liked, which were much more valuable than our fans realised. Right place, right time, kind of person. He hasn't been given a go since our resurgence, which sadly means he's not showing enough in training, but then again, allardyce seem to be sticking to those he knows he can trust as opposed to taking any risks.

Now that it looks like Ross is out this opens up more opportunities for Davy... Give him a shot BS!

I thought from the scouting reports that this lad was pure class.

He has been lightweight and insignificant since he arrived.

Agreed, hes not the type of player to create for himself, but he excells at creating for others. It is a bit strange we brought him into a squad that is built for the opposite of that, with no wingers to make runs, and no striker to pass to.

And I get bringing in Klaassen, but not Klaassen, Rooney, and Siggurdson. You've just gotten a bunch of players to do the same thing, and no one for them to pass to.

He's almost not played at all. Not sure how anyone could make any judgments about him. Not sure why people think he's a number 10, either. I was against the signing but he could certainly help us if he played.
