I wish that were the case. He should have played in rooneys absence instead of Mccarthy and his wonder through ball to callum Wilson

Agreed, hes not the type of player to create for himself, but he excells at creating for others. It is a bit strange we brought him into a squad that is built for the opposite of that, with no wingers to make runs, and no striker to pass to.

And I get bringing in Klaassen, but not Klaassen, Rooney, and Siggurdson. You've just gotten a bunch of players to do the same thing, and no one for them to pass to.

His movement and ability to finish moves of is what i noticed but he doesnt get involved in buildup. Martinez probably would have loved him.

He's almost not played at all. Not sure how anyone could make any judgments about him. Not sure why people think he's a number 10, either. I was against the signing but he could certainly help us if he played.

Maybe not a 10 like Barkley, more a 2nd striker like Dele Ali with Barkley deeper it would have worked a treat.

I'm dreading that Conte will turn Barkley into a WC player by playing him further back.

I wouldnt want to say either way. I always suspected he would be but not sure now. I'm dying to see him further back.

Really don't see the harm in trying him tbh. Davies has taken a step back this year and looks a little out of his depth. He doesn't go from being one of the best attacking midfielders in the Dutch national side to being completely useless.

Even if the Dutch national side isn't what it used to be. There must be something going on behind the scenes with this fella.

I agree, but he hasn't been fit all season yet Davy still can't get a game so I don't think Barkley leaving will help at all.
