He'll get better as he gets to know the players he's playing with. He's an instinctive passer.

It's obvious he's got a sharp football brain. Also noticed on any occasion we got into final 3rd he was always making a good/ ghost like run into box.

In time that will get him some goals

All opinions but apart from his assist I thought he was pretty dire.
As others have said, he looks a very intelligent player and I like how if he only needs a touch to so something, he does it. No messing around taking the sting out of the game.
Think he will be quality but tonight thought he was pretty anonymous for large parts.

I must have watched a different game, simply wasn't involved decent pass for the goal but aside did very little. Not impressed

Other than the assist...which was about our only correctly weighted forward ball...the game passed him by. Made lots of late runs to the box but there were no quality in the top third to take advantage. May have just been an off night for the lad.

I think there's a very good player in DK but he'll have to impose himself more to demand the ball from team mates or win it himself which don't look a big part of his game so far, otherwise he'll quickly find out that Everton in the Prem can't afford a passenger like we saw in tonight's performance.

He was way more involved than people think. He wasn't the one making idiotic passes and decisions all night so he might have gone a bit unnoticed. He also made a few vital tackles and interceptions that sparked some play as well. Rooney and Klassen are redundant and they shouldn't be on the field together.

Did he? The lad floats about and lays the ball off. That's about it.

The goal came from Rooney battling against two players for the ball and laying off to him.

I don't think you'll see Klassen doing the same.
