All went square-shaped when he and Schneids went off. Some good link-up play developing between Davy and our other players and came close himself. Won't be long until he scores.

I think he is struggling with two aspects at the moment; adapting to a new team and fitness.

I think if he can improve on these two aspects and then he will be an effective player for us.

He pretty much sums up Everton at the moment in terms of we don't know how good he or this new look Everton team can be.

Lovely first time ball into Rooney who should have scored. Adds cleverness where it wasn't there last season.

Needs to start scoring his chances, hopefully it'll come.

But yes, he did tire notably after the break. As they all did.

And that was purely down to Schneiderlin going off.

Which is why we're going to massively miss Barry.
