Just needs to settle, be confident on the ball and do his quick 1 2s running towards goal rather than backwards, he drove Ajax to the Europa league final he is certainly not a waste of 25m

Great example was when we were about to break forward he got the ball and immediately played it back without even attempting to turn, completely ruining the momentum.

Watching the goal again his run really helped cause the confusion in the box which allowed Wayne a free header. And yes, he won the ball a few times (not sure why people are saying he hasn't made a tackle). Either way, we need to have more balance in the team. We can't have both he and Wayne dropping into the same positions so one of them has to make way.

Watching him today from lower g. He didnt put a tackle in or nick the ball of any players. I was expecting more tenacity, however very early days yet.

He was poor today but there's defo a player in there and, when ( or if if you're a miserable arl arse ) he starts to get used to this league, we'll hopefully see a very different player to what we saw today.

First time I've seen him in the flesh, and he had a complete mare.

I couldn't figure out what he's supposed to be.

Obviously it's just one PL game so too early to write him off, but the jargometer was registering high today

According to the ajax fans from Holland who've spoke about him to my friend who's lived there for a couple years, he's supposed to be a more attacking mccarthy type but he is nothing like that.
