In reality, he has not. He surely hasn't looked good, but he hasn't been given a chance to settle or play in a lineup that wasn't horrendous (which tbf, most of our lineups are horrendous atm regardless of who we play). I would hope we find a loan deal for him as he needs to be playing somewhere and get acclimated to the league somehow. I'm not sure we can risk playing him in the first team though.

Klaassen was a force at Ajax. Hard to believe that’s all gone away. Had pretty decent pace, stellar touch, amazing field vision and played space offball so so well. A real intelligent footballer. Looked great in the Sunderland game but really didn’t feature in a decent lineup again. Shame. The Ajax/PSV game from last year, he was the best player.

It’s amazing and shocking that he is rated so poorly that he cant get a game above the dross being served up against WBA last week. When there is no competition for places then people just phone it in. Davies or Klassen partnering Guye in midfield at Goodison against bottom 3 teams sounds like a potentially viable idea.
