You only have to read how eager people were to declare Iceland a waste of money, a player who is now improving with getting games under his belt, Klaassen hasnt even been given a chance, hes played 90minutes twice, both times we won 3-0.

So yeah @Moomin, if its ok with you, I wont be declaring Dave "correct" until hes played more than 2 games for us.

Hes currently played more minutes than KDB got for Chelsea, but less than Mo Salah.

Complete guess work.

De Gea, De Bruyne, Salah and Pogba all looked poor for a lot longer Klaassen has played. You can't judge a player on what adds up to less than 5 matches.

Has he looked good? No.
Was he ever going to impress in the circumstances? Probably not.
Have we seen him properly? Not at all.

Sigurdsson was just as bad for weeks and played his way back.

Klassen has been compared to Naismith a lot. Naismith was one of the worst footballers I’d ever seen in his first 6 months at the club. He turned it around.
