Agreed. Could work in a midfield 3 in a similar one to what Davies tends to play best in.

His problem is just that he's one cook too many IMO

Yeah, i dont mind him going on loan, but I honestly think theres a player there (he captained Ajax fgs) and unless we see him play/adjust then we just don't know if he's worth keeping. (long term I think he could take over Rooney's deeper sitting role, but who knows.... )

We're limited to 25, so every player that comes in Jan will have to displace a player from the current 25. We need a striker and a leftback, possibly a CB - that's three players that will have to drop out of the squad. Besic, McCarthy, perhaps, but Klaassen must be a target if he isn't currently getting on the bench.

True......but we have plenty who could be displaced . I'd prefer to keep the ones who are actually fit to play .

I would be shocked if Mirallas and Besic remained after the window, add probably Barkley as well, but as ive said a few times now, I can defo see more Outs than Ins for sure.

Mirallas will leave because he needs to be playing if he wants to stake a place in the WC coming up.

Klaassen will leave if we get anyone daft enough tipping up with about £15M as we wont want to suffer a loss greater than £10M. Thanks "Ronk".
