You've done well there mate then considering he's only made 13 appearances for us, with four of them being substitute appearances.

10+ then?

Had a look back and in a lot of them he was taken off way before the end, either at half time or with about 30 mins remaining. There is a reason for that, and it's because he wasn't impacting the game enough.

I hope he can turn it around don't get me wrong, I just don't think he is suited to this league based on what I have seen so far. Given his scoring record and what he's achieved in his career so far at a club as big as Ajax, there is clearly a good player in there but not all players are suited to this league.

If he puts a run together from now to the end of the season and proves me wrong, then I will happily admit I wrote him off him too early.

Having watched him a lot at Ajax I am always going to think he can be a success here. He's had a dire start, our season as a whole has been garbage but he's shown a good attitude, not complained and done what he needed to do to get back on the pitch. If he can get more minutes and rebuild a bit of confidence then he can hopefully show what he's about a bit more. I would certainly rather see him getting minutes ahead of schneiderlin for the rest of the season.

Played togger at school on a muddy pitch and was good at slideys to get dirty and make yer Mar think you’d had a great game.
Decides the former captain of Ajax, and Dutch international is turd based on a few bit-part outings in a team in massive transition in a dire season.

Everton that.

You’ve done extremely well to judge a player with barely 200 minutes played in a new league.

Whatever you think of my opinion, it's 3 managers who have all seen him in training and in matches and have not liked what they've seen.

For £25m or close to it, i'd expect to have seen something in 13 appearances, even if it's not a lot of games. Like Sigurdsson for example who despite having a poor start to his career here had scored a goal from the half way line in the game in Split. Or Walcott who got an assist on his debut and then 2 goals in his next game. Both Rooney and Tosun had made impacts early after playing far less than 13 appearances.

He's supposed to be a goal scoring midfielder yet he rarely creates chances and he hasn't scored or had many shots.

Needs to show more for me, let's hope with us safe he will get a run of game and prove those who doubt him wrong.

I bought a pizza that was £11 once. It was really bad, do you know how economics works.

In a season full of absolute gash, his behaviour and character, like Niasse before him, has been a positive. He hasn't moaned or mouthed off to the media, got his head down in training, said he wants to fight for his place, he needs credit for that.
Imho he's been scapegoated this season when the options available are a dozen at least.

Absolutely spot on.........

3 managers, 1 sacked, 1 not given the job & 1 thunderhead bisto guzzling goat botherer.
Add into that the shambles around everything Everton and the amount of chances he's had to create chances...blah blah
Jeebus you'd hang someone on the say so of the daily mail...
