David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

Think it's mad how some people are blaming only the players and letting unsworth off because he' a blue. I like the feller I really do but he takes as much blame as the players. We conceded 3 from a corner last night. 3 though we have leaked goals all season the first thing the team should be looking at is keeping it solid. We have conceded first in every game we have conceded 16 in 6 under him. He' playing a different team/formation every single game

They're all as bad as each other. The board the management and the players

They don' deserve to be at a club l8ke Everton with fans like us

Bunch of cowards..absolutely hate all things everton now

It’s crazy isn’t it, I mean that volley from the edge of the box is all down to organisation or lack of it.

We had nobody on the posts and yet there was still not a single player marking the space on the edge. They had two players free. That would’ve taken 30 mins on the training ground, it’s almost all down to coaching.

After 6 games I still have absolutely no clue how David Unsworth wants to play football. Unless he is going for the incredibly naive, no shape lets see how it goes method in which case he’s brilliant at it

The only thing that matters are PL points.

Couldn't care less if we lost that one last night 10-0. Points on Sunday is the priority.

4 points from the next two are my target not getting a useless result in a cup that was never in play anyway.

The game last night was our chance to try and build some confidence in our players.

Where are their confidence levels this morning?

How on earth can he lift them up in 2 days to go away to Southampton and win?

Next up after that is West Ham at home, with a certain David Moyes coming along, ready to kick our teeth in.

This shambles has to stop and stop now, for Unsworth's sake and the sake of our club.

Absolutely spot on this MacmoFrandel.

The amount of times - and this is Under 12s stuff, let alone too complicated for a much-vaunted U23 league winning coach - their centreforward, who we made look like Diego Costa in his prime, dropped deep, Williams or Keane would charge with them and there would be a huge 15 yard hole behind was embarrassing.

You've got three centremids in front of you, why are you going with the striker into that area? Why doesn't the full back drop in and one of the centre mids drop into the full back area?

He sets us up 4-3-3 (god knows why) and that's supposed to work for width, a focal point striker who brings the full backs, wingers, and midfield in to the game. Only, we don't play with pace or width, or a 10 that gets beyond the striker, or a striker that can hold the ball up, or full backs capable of going past their opposite number....

There's a reason why coaches like Dyche, Silva are praised, because they realise the limitations of their players and PLAY TO THEIR STRENGTHS. Unsy however, being the tactical mastermind that he is, would rather we played to the mad Martinez system that Koeman was too lazy to change and then wonders why, gasp, we concede a massive amount of goals.

The EL and LC games were nothing games. We all knew they were there to be endured.

Three PL games are all that interest me: a win, a draw and a loss.

Against Watford, Palace, and Burnley, FFS that should have been 9 points out of 9, and not 4 out of 9.

We haven't played 2 same lineups for the whole of this season. That is a massive worry because a manager has got to come in, See what hes got and who he thinks can sync with his philosophy. Then evaluate what we need in January. But my thinking is it could take a couple of months for things to get right on the pitch so everyones got to hold their nerves because this is not a quick fix even for a world class manager. I would give more of the younger players a go because its quite clear to me that other than Rooney I don't think the likes of Baines,Williams and Jagielka have got the stomach for the fight and they are the ones the young lads should be looking too.

No it wasn’t. It was a dead rubber, that’s why we made the NINE changes. And we don’t have to get a wins sunday, 4 points from the next two games is fine and dandy

???????

That would still only leave us on 16 points from 14 games.

We need to win both. If we lose either we're struggling and heaven help us if we lose at home to West Ham.

Fine and dandy. Holy moly.
