?

We've won one in 5 games and conceded 11 in that time

Not seeing an improvement to be honest
Yeah all jokes and spoof crappy letters aside, we haven't improved.
We are working harder- great. Fail to see any direction or quality or even signs of either.
We basically hope Niasse can run and wriggle to some avail.
It can't be Unsworth, I just don't see how it can .

I see your point, but...

We've picked up 4 points compared to the 0 I predicted koeman would get out of those fixtures!!

I know this is tongue in cheek, but when you consider that the fixtures are Chelsea (H), Leicester (A), Lyon (A), Watford (H), Palace (A), one win and a draw is not an good enough return.

What is more worrying though, is that we've conceded 11 goals in those 5 games and we were a missed Cleverley penalty away from not winning any of them.

Unsworth has simply got to get back down to the U23s or take a managerial position at a lower level because he isn't ready for a job at premier league level, let alone the challenge which we're currently facing.

Just so you know, it is less than mediocre overall and I don't believe Unsy is the man to take us forward in the long run right now based on the tactical, or lack of, nous in these showings.

I was merely originally commending him for bringing through some youth and putting faith back into some of our fringe players ala lennon.

In terms of going forward, I also don't believe the hype around Silva. I could totally be wrong as I'm purely assessing it on what I've seen which is very little - but the options aren't exactly bountiful?

Probably been pointed out but...some or most of the players he has at his disposal simply are not playing to their own standards at all ..or simply not good enough. Has an incredibly hard job under those circumstances.
Whoever comes in may find it equally as hard?
Hopefully its resolved early doors in the week.

We need to bring in a manager ASAP. Ideally before the Atalanta game which would give them a chance to evaluate players before the next Prem game. As much as I like and respect Unsworth, he is not the answer.

Three league games, 4 points. We've come from behind 5 times now and are starting to show a bit of fight and spirit. Not sure, given our circumstances, that we could have realistically expected more. Happy to see him given more time in charge and wouldn't object to see him given the rest of the season as I don't think there's a lot of good long term alternatives right now.

He got lucky last time against Watford and he got lucky today as we were played off the park for most of that game, and were handed two goals by poor refereeing and awful defending. There's been no sign of improvement at all. He makes the same damn mistakes that Koeman was making and then has too much work to do after half time. And dropping Vlasic is beyond me. The one lad, bar Oumar, who actually looked like he wanted to win games. I know we have no one else right now, but we really can't get a manager in quick enough for my liking.
