Just watched his interview on Everton site. Whatever happens in the next week, he's been class in the way that he's gone about his business. Massive respect to the man.

Exactly he's had the job for 12 days and had to play 4 matches. He needs longer. What exactly are the alternatives here, if we don't give him any time it looks like Dyche or Allardyce. Can't say i'd be happy with either of them. The alternative is that we give him a bit more time, if he stabilises us then great we can review in the summer. If not then we can still hit the panic button and get Dyche or Allardyce in. I'd give him some more time personally, can't deny the spirit and confidence that win today will bring.

He won't get the job and I doubt he expects to. But he could well have just helped us to our most important 3 points of the season, that shouldn't be forgotten whatever happens.

Totally agreed, I'd love for him to be our manager one day but I just don't think now is the right time. The squad is just wholly unbalanced and I think an experienced leader is needed to navigate through to January before new signings can be added. He's been a credit to himself and the football club over the last few weeks however.
