I keep saying it, but we need Mirallas or Vlasic in the middle. We need someone to carry the ball until Barkley gets back ffs. Gylf/Rooney/Klassen will not cut it. They are all way too easy to contain.

This group are sh*te.. I don't know what he's supposed to do short of lumber onto the pitch himself. It's not like he can go down the shop and buy us a striker and a whole defence. Our squad recruitment tactics seem to have come from the 'names drawn randomly from a hat' school of thinking.

I, for one, am not blaming Unsy here. He had a limited amount of time to see if he could get a tune out of these players. He hasn't managed it. Says more about the players than him I'm afraid. But whats worrying for the new manager is the mentality of this group. Magic wand might be needed.

One of us is imo,someone that knows what it means to wear our jersey,someone who hurts just as much as we do when we lose. I think unsy fits that description.As I've already said though he's not the answer.

Might have been an idea to have Sandro on the bench

5 strikers regardless of how great it crap they are and he chose to put a player who I don't think I've seen so out if his depth as a target man ( not his fault I might add ) since I had the displeasure of watching Brett Angels face when he had the look of "how the hell am I a footballer playing for Everton"

The plan was not to concede. With 3 in midfield that was working. When we brought the extra attacker on to help us score it all went wrong.

He's boss UNSY, always liked him but y'know what...the WILLIAMS captaining has left a bit of bad taste for me like. Based on both general perf's and the previous Lyon game he shudda been dropped/benched...

DCL, Rooney and Mirallas were rightly being rested. Lookman isn’t a striker either and Sandro has been terrible.

Sigurdsson is as close to a number 9 as we had the option of playing tonight, that’s how messed up our squad is.

That isn’t Unsworth’s fault.

It's a shameful & spineless squad and if he can't get them going by now - and after riding the wave of a sacking, all that - then he's simply not going to. Not his fault like...he's a good guy, Davey, but ....pfffffft....this squad is baffling, has RK really sucked so much life out of it all.
